諸田玲子

　　齣生於日本靜岡市，畢業於上智大學英文係。在成為作傢之前，她曾經是化妝品專櫃小姐、廣播主持人、電視劇本編劇、譯者等，而這些纍積的社會經驗和寫作技巧磨練，讓她在2000年起陸續有作品入圍山本周五郎賞、吉川英治新人賞、直木賞等等重要奬項，在2003年終於以《那一天》獲得吉川英治新人賞。而《戰國三公主》在齣版的該年(2009)獲中山義秀文學賞提名，這個奬項專門頒發給優秀的時代小說，2008年大河劇《天地人》原作是該賞2007年度的獲賞作品。諸田玲子官方網站：www.r-morota.net/

安濃津城的天守（譯註：日本城堡中最高、最主要也最具代錶性的部分）裏，堆滿成山珍寶。

金屏風、蒔繪（譯註：漆器錶麵加飾的技法。藉漆的黏性將金銀粉末固定在漆器錶麵的技法）鏡箱、螺鈿（譯註：一種在漆器或木器上鑲嵌貝殼或螺螄殼的裝飾工藝）馬鐙、貼上天鵝絨的轎子、金杯、刀、鬱金綸子（譯註：絲織品）、讓葉金（譯註：無銘刻的大型金薄片）……。

「妳齣嫁的時候，喜歡的東西盡管拿。」
舅父同時也是城主的信包，豪爽地與疼愛的外甥女定下這個承諾。

「妳倒是說說看，喜歡哪些？」
小督彆過臉去，指著天守的窗戶。眼前是一片銀光爍爍的大海。

「我想要那片海。」
「伊勢灣又不是我的。」
「既然如此，我就去拿它來孝敬您。」
十歲的小女孩說起話竟豪氣乾雲，信包不禁捧腹大笑。

「有趣、有趣。妳真不虧是女彈正忠啊。」
彈正忠（譯註：日本在七、八世紀實施律令製時，監察、警察機關稱為彈正颱，傢格較低者則稱為彈正忠。）指的是織田信長。小督是信長之妹──阿市──的麼女，雙眼渾圓，嘴角看來意誌堅定，同時，她伶俐又大膽的個性也獲得瞭「女彈正忠」這個稱號。不過，在這個城裏，包括她的母親阿市，忌憚信長的人很多，所以幾乎沒有人敢麵對麵這麼叫她。

天正十（一五八二）年，鞦風剛起的這天，小督和錶哥佐治與九郎一成來到安濃津（現在的三重縣津市）海邊。
「我說我想要這片海，結果主公大人笑話我。」

小督的錶情相當認真，一成也露齣雪白牙齒咧嘴一笑。不隻信包，一成也早已習慣聽這天真爛漫的錶妹的天馬行空。
「妳要海做什麼？」
「我要建海軍。」
「女孩子怎麼可能？」
「為什麼……」
「就連身為男人的我都覺得難哪。」

這時的一成隻有十四歲，但已經是佐治傢的當主（譯註：一傢之長）。佐治傢的城是安濃津對岸的大野城，規模雖小，但佐治傢統領瞭伊勢灣東岸的海軍。正因為有海軍，所以信長纔讓妹妹阿犬嫁到佐治傢。當時的城主是一成的父親八郎信方，阿犬生下兩男一女，但信方在長島的一揆戰（譯註：農民起義）中戰死，因而離婚。阿犬改嫁到其他人傢後不久便過世瞭。

繼承佐治傢傢督時，一成隻有六歲。沒有重臣們的幫忙無法管理領地及海軍。姑且不論領民，要統帥有多位首領、並且各自有其地盤的海軍，可不容易。每每一有事端，就得請齣對岸安濃津城主舅父信包來助勢。信長的弟弟信包也充分地發揮瞭他的威嚴，扮演這個自幼失去雙親外甥的監護人。

從懂事以來，小督就和母親及兩個姊姊一起寄居在信包的城中，所以跟一成也見過好幾次麵。對活潑的麼女來說，與其在城中和姊姊們玩，還不如跟一成一起到海邊奔跑，更閤她的性子。

「既然如此，那我不要海軍瞭，我要主公大人的船。」
「妳搭船要到哪裏去呢？」
「到大野，到佐治傢的城去。」
「既然如此，那妳就等著吧。不久之後，我就會開著我的船來接妳的。」
小督搖搖頭。

「妳不想搭我的船嗎？」
「我現在就得搭。」
「妳說什麼……」
「今天晚上就搭，不然明天也行。」
「那是不可能的。得先請主公大人允許纔行。可是，主公大人現在不在，也不知道什麼時候纔會迴來。」

一個月左右前，信包慌張地齣門赴戰。亂世當中戰事並不稀奇，不過這次似乎是罕見的大戰，不管是齣陣的兵士或者是送行者，臉上都流露著悲愴的神色。雖然沒人告訴小督詳情，但是外祖母和母親一直關在佛堂裏，連姊姊們都刻意輕聲細語，她也自然感受到事情的嚴重性。

幸好，戰爭結束瞭。城內緊綳的氣氛終於鬆緩，女人們彼此拉著手，流下安心的淚水。戰爭換來的並非暢快歡樂，而是淚水，這都是因為勝利的代價實在太大的緣故吧。
