這是發生在民國六十年間一則頗為傳奇的事件，不管是不是所謂的報應，裏頭的故事確實值得一些擅於偷雞摸狗的司法人員做為參考和警惕。
事情的發生是在該年八月的某一天晚上，時間大約十二點左右，位在颱北縣樹林鎮的一處廢墟空屋內突然傳來女孩子呼救的慘叫聲，不過纔短短的幾分鍾就停止瞭，接著隻見三名年輕人從室內匆促的離去，或許是巧閤，也可能冥冥中真的有鬼神的指引，這一景一幕正好被正在附近田裏巡田水的「阿順伯」撞見，當時他心裏想，這麼晚瞭，那三名年輕人到底在屋內乾什麼？
存著好奇之心，他緩緩的走進屋內一看，結果發現地上躺瞭一個全身赤裸且已經氣絕身亡的年輕少女，年約二十來歲，她兩眼張大怒視，嘴巴更呈現咬牙切齒的模樣，彷彿死不瞑目，阿順伯見狀嚇得渾身發抖，火速地跑到派齣所辦案，並將所看到的一切過程詳細的告訴警方，後來在警方全力的搜證緝捕下，再加上阿順伯的協助及指認，不到兩天的功夫便將那三名兇手逮捕到案。
這三名兇手都年僅二十歲，他們分彆是陳萬凱、許金輝和一名綽號叫「大頭仔」的人，其中又以許金輝的身分較為特殊，原來他父親許純發是樹林鎮頗有財勢的望族，早在日據時期他父親曾經當過刑警，經常仗著權勢欺淩颱灣人，算是一個不摺不扣的日本走狗。
後來日本人走瞭留下不少財物給他，而許純發就是靠著父親的這筆橫財在樹林鎮大肆收購土地和房子，同時在鎮上開設一傢名為「豪紳」的金飾店，不到三十歲她已經是傢財萬貫瞭。
不過許純發並不以此為滿足，為瞭鞏固自己在地方上的惡勢力，他甚至廣交黑白兩道來做靠山，同時認瞭一個中央級的官員當義父，每個月固定給他送紅包。
可是盡管許純發財大勢大，但對於教育孩子卻是徹底的失敗，由於從小他們夫妻就對獨生子許金輝溺愛有加，以緻於長大後竟養成驕縱貪婪的習性，不僅整天遊手好閑鬧事，甚至還在外麵養瞭一堆流氓，經常調戲鎮上的少女，稱得上是一名惡霸。而更令地方人士痛心的是，每次齣瞭事情，他父親總是利用關係將事情擺平，造成許金輝更加肆無忌憚的為所欲為。
